There are six lessons in this course, along with a brief introduction and coda:

  1. Pitch Exercises
  2. Interval Exercises
  3. Scale Exercises
  4. Rhythm Exercises
  5. Melody Exercises
  6. Chord Exercises

You can take these lessons in any order, but it’s better if start with the first and continue sequentially. Make sure you have an instrument, some blank music paper, and a pencil and eraser. And, of course, the Music Theory Note-by-Note book so you can check your work against the answers in the back of the book!
